Why Isn’t #Media All Over This One? Because It’s Positive News? #Hero

15-Year-old Temar Boggs is hugged for being a hero after he and a friend rescued 5-year-old Jocelyn Rojas from an abductor. The two boys followed the abductor’s van for 15 minutes until its driver pulled over and let Jocelyn out. She then asked Temar to take her to her mother.

Two Pennsylvania teens managed to save a young girl’s life after chasing down the car that abducted her.

15-year-old Temar Boggs and a friend are being credited with saving the life of five-year-old Jocelyn Rojas, who was snatched by an older man in a car from her grandmother’s front yard on Thursday afternoon.

The two teenage boys gave chase to the unidentified man’s car on bicycle until he pulled over and let the little girl go.

The teens were chasing the man for 15 minutes before he pulled over and dropped Jocelyn off before speeding off again.

“If he wasn’t going to stop, I was probably going to like, jump on the car,” Boggs told ABC6.

With the little girl back in her family’s custody, the police in Lancaster Townshisp are now focusing on the suspect.

“As soon as the guy started noticing that we were chasing him, he stopped at the end of the hill and let her out, and she ran to me and said that she needed her mom,” he said.

Boggs then took Jocelyn to the police and they brought her back to her family.

Police are praising Boggs and his friend for their bravery.

“It is possible this individual saw the boys following him and it is possible he got nervous. We don’t know that for sure; I’d sure like to find out,” said Sergeant Jeff Jones to WGAL.

Jocelyn Rojas’ grandmother Tracey Clay is immeasurably grateful for Boggs.

“Thank you. You’re our hero,” she said while hugging and kissing him. “He’s our hero. I mean, there’s no words to say,” she told WGAL.

You’re never too young to be a hero!
